The snow may still be deep in most of Yellowstone National Park, but there's one sure sign in spring: On Tuesday, park employees observed grizzly-bear tracks on Mary Mountain, near the center of the lower loop of the park’s Grand Loop Road.

A heavy snowpack is causing Yellowstone National Park bison to move outside the northern boundary of the Park: today around 300 were hazed back to the Park's Stephens Creek facility, where those testing positive for brucellosis are expected to be slaughtered.
