While we don’t expect any of you to change your 2024 travel plans, the National Park Service released the list of next year’s Yellowstone free admission days–days celebrated across the entire national park system.
Here are the six entrance fee–free dates in 2024:
- January 15: Birthday of Martin Luther King, Jr.
- April 20: First day of National Park Week
- June 19: Juneteenth National Independence Day
- August 4: Anniversary of the Great American Outdoors Act
- September 28: National Public Lands Day
- November 11: Veterans Day
Admission to Yellowstone National Park costs $35/vehicle or $20 per pedestrian, good for seven days. You can’t apply a free day to a seven-day admission, however; to best take advantage of it schedule your trip to begin or end on the free admission day or just head to Yellowstone–or Grand Teton, of course–for the day.
