The Old Faithful Snow Lodge and Cabins, as well as the Obsidian Dining Room, have closed for the 2018 Yellowstone winter season.
A reminder as well that the road between Mammoth Hot Springs and Norris Geyser Basin will close tonight at 9 p.m. MST.
Roads around Yellowstone National Park started closing to oversnow travel March 1, 2018 for spring plowing. Roads will continue closing in installments until March 15, which will officially mark the end of the winter season.
You can see the list of road closures below. All roads listed will close at 9 p.m. MST the day of:
March 6: Norris to Madison, Norris to Canyon Village.
March 11: Canyon Village to Fishing Bridge, Fishing Bridge to Lake Butte Overlook.
March 15: All remaining interior roads.
The road between Mammoth Hot Springs and the Northeast Entrance remains open year-round.
