Yellowstone Visitation Numbers Down in June
A bad economy, higher-than-normal fuel prices and a delayed spring pushed down visitation numbers in June for Yellowstone National Park, but it still ended up as the third-highest June visitation on record.
Yellowstone Visitation Down Slightly Again in January
Fewer folks visited Yellowstone National Park in January 2011 than in January 2010, as bad weather and a poor economy presumably cut down on the number of visitors heading to the Park for day visits and guided snowmobile tours.
Yellowstone Visitation Up for 2010, Down in May
Bad weather led to a drop in Yellowstone National Park attendance from May 2009 when compared to May 2010, but don't be concerned: the 2010 numbers are up overall, and the May 2010 final tally is still the fourth-best in Park history.
