Yellowstone Insider Your Complete Guide to America's First National Park
The road between Canyon Village and Fishing Bridge is open once more after being closed by a water line break.
According to a Yellowstone press release, the road is open to one-lane travel. Traffic lights are on-site directing drivers between each end of the Sliding Meadow repair work. You should expect delays while driving this route.
We previously reported travel along that route was stopped indefinitely, with no reopening date set. You can see a picture of the scene below.
The news comes as a welcome relief for visitors who previously had to take the long way (through the Craig Pass between Old Faithful and West Thumb) to get between Canyon and Fishing Bridge.
