Under the Gardiner Gateway Project, Yellowstone’s North Entrance and Gardiner, MT will be undergoing some major changes in the next few years.

Work on the Gardiner Gateway Project — a $12-million revamp of the North Entrance to Yellowstone National Park — will begin this summer after project organizers snared a $10.3 million grant from the Federal Lands Access Program.

The historic North Entrance to Yellowstone National Park will have a new look next year, as a new entrance-station complex will allow visitors to pose for a picture at the Roosevelt Arch or proceed directly into the Park.

A proposed overhaul of the North Entrance to Yellowstone National Park would add more entry kiosks and a road reconfiguration allowing folks in a hurry to bypass the Roosevelt Arch -- while decreasing traffic for those who want to enjoy it.
