With the weather hot and dry in much of the West, three larger fires in Yellowstone National Park are active but not yet impacting visitors and services, though some thermal areas are closed.

With the fire danger in Yellowstone National Park being high these days, we expect to see a lot of stories this: NPS officials report a new incident, the Druid Fire, approximately two miles north of the Northeast Entrance Road on the northern aspect of Druid Peak overlooking the Lamar Valley.
