With the Old Faithful Overpass Bridge closed because of safety concerns, getting to and from the Old Faithful area will be a challenge for the time being.
The condition of the Old Faithful Overpass Bridge is currently under evaluation. While no facilities or services in the Old Faithful area are closed, access to and from will take longer than normal, so the National Park Service is advising that if you are not traveling directly to Old Faithful, consider alternate routes due to delays throughout the area. In other words, expect detours and delays at Old Faithful until further notice.
