Canyon Lodge and Cabins Reopens for 2018 Summer Season

The Canyon Lodge and Cabins have reopened in Yellowstone National Park!

The Dunraven Pass has also reopened, meaning every park road is now open.

In addition to the Lodge, most of the dining facilities in Canyon (M66 Grill, Eatery, Falls Café, and Washburn Lookout) have reopened. The Ice Creamery will reopen May 25.

In addition, the following facilities have reopened for the summer season:

Bridge Bay

• Campground.
• Marina Store.

Fishing Bridge

• Service Station.

Lake Village

• Clinic.

Old Faithful

• Clinic.

Tower/Roosevelt

• Tower Fall General Store

You can see the full list of opening and closing dates here.

Norris Campground was originally slated to open today as well. However, the campground is currently closed due to a water leak. It will reopen once the leak is fixed.

With the opening of Dunraven Pass, all interior park roads are open. The Beartooth Highway, which connects the Northeast Entrance to Red Lodge and Billings, Montana, is set to open May 25, weather permitting.

If you’re driving around the park, expect construction delays on the Mammoth-Norris road and around Fishing Bridge between the bridge and Indian Pond. Read here for up-to-date Yellowstone road information.
