East Entrance Road Reopens After Overnight Closure

The East Entrance road and Sylvan Pass have reopened after a temporary closure due to avalanche debris.

Yesterday, park officials closed the road to oversnow travel overnight, to give crews time to clear away the debris.

Currently, the road is slated to close 9 p.m. March 1, 2018 for spring plowing. It will reopen May 4, weather permitting.

You can see the full list of road closing and opening dates here.
