The Old Faithful Lodge in Yellowstone National Park has closed for the season, along with several other park facilities.
Grant Village Lodging and Restaurant has also closed for the season.
As winter approaches, more and more places will close for the season—either until the spring or in preparation for the winter season.
Besides the Lodge, the following facilities are now closed for the season:
Old Faithful
• Old Faithful Lodge Cafeteria.
• Old Faithful Lodge Gift Shop.
• Old Faithful Lodge Bake Shop.
• Old Faithful Clinic.
The next big set of closures is slated for October 8. At that time, both the Old Faithful Inn and Canyon Lodge and Cabins will close, along with most of the Canyon complex.
