Additional National Park Service staff have been dispatched to deal with traffic congestion in Yellowstone National Park.
The news comes after heavy traffic shuttered access to Old Faithful and West Thumb, following yesterday’s solar eclipse over Grand Teton National Park.
Traffic between Old Faithful and West Yellowstone may persist until 10 or 11 p.m. tonight.
According to a Yellowstone press release, five park employees are managing traffic in Madison Junction; more staff will be sent to other parts of the park.
We will provide more updates as this story develops.
