North Rim Drive along the Grand Canyon of the Yellowstone will be temporarily closed Wednesday, June 7 for helicopter operations.
According to a Yellowstone press release, the drive will be closed between 5 and 10:30 a.m. The closure may last longer, depending on the weather.
Staff will be moving building material toward another portion of Canyon Rim, as a part of ongoing rim renovation efforts. In total, crews will be moving 25,000 pounds of material.
The helicopter will be operating from the Brink of the Lower Falls parking lot.
