Nightly closures between Norris Junction and Golden Gate will begin Sunday, June 4 at 10 p.m.
According to a Yellowstone press release, the road will be closed nightly between 10 p.m. and 7 a.m. June 4 through September 10, 2017, with the exception of Friday and Saturday nights. Crews are doing construction work on this stretch of road.
Barricades will be put up at Roaring Mountain and the Willow Park/Moose Exhibit restroom pullout. Visitors will still be able to access Norris and Indian Creek campgrounds.
The road will close completely between September 10 and October 6, 2017.
Visitors should expect up to 30-minute delays during the day between Norris and Golden Gate.
