Yellowstone Insider Your Complete Guide to America's First National Park
The Norris–Canyon road has reopened in Yellowstone National Park after being closed by inclement weather.Monday, October 17, we reported the Norris–Canyon road was closed due to a snowstorm. Throughout the day, the following routes were closed as well:
- The East Entrance Road.
- The South Entrance Road.
- Craig Pass between Old Faithful and West Thumb Junction.
The roads were still listed as closed as of 12:10 p.m. MST today, October 18.
Currently, all Yellowstone routes except for the Dunraven Pass are open to vehicle traffic. They are scheduled to close November 7. Oversnow travel will begin mid-December in Yellowstone National Park.
