Old Faithful Lodge Closes For 2016 Summer Season

More facilities, including the Old Faithful Lodge, are closing for the 2016 summer season.

These closures follow the closure of Canyon Lodge and several campgrounds.

As of 8:45 a.m. MST, the following facilities have closed or will be closing today in Yellowstone National Park:

Fishing Bridge
• General Store.

Grant Village
• Grant Lodge.
• Grant Village Dining Room.

Lake Village
• Lake Lodge & Cabins.
• Lake Lodge Cafeteria.

Old Faithful
• Old Faithful Lodge.
• Old Faithful Lodge Cafeteria.
• Old Faithful Lodge Gift Shop.
• Old Faithful Lodge Bake Shop.
• Old Faithful Clinic.

In addition, please note that the road between Mammoth Hot Springs and Norris Geyser Basin will reopen October 7 once construction is done. Also note that next week, October 11, both the Dunraven and Beartooth Passes will close for the season.

UPDATE: the Old Faithful Lodge, Bake Shop and Gift Shop will actually be closing October 5, 2016 in the morning.
