The event will be held Wednesday evening, September 22, at 7 p.m. in the Community Room of the West Yellowstone Visitor Information Center. It is co-sponsored by the National Park Service and the Grizzly and Wolf Discovery Center.
The festival is not a contest, and no prizes are awarded. However, it is an opportunity for both amateur and professional photographers to share some of their images with others who share their passion for photography.
Photographers are asked to bring up to 25 digital images on a thumb drive or a photo CD, and will have up to five minutes to share their photos and stories.
Interested photographers are asked to contact Rich Jehle at 307-344-2840 or by email at rich_jehle@nps.gov by 5 p.m., Monday, September 20, for more information and to register to participate in the festival.
We’ve also set up a free Twitter account so you can receive updates on the device of your choice.
