Yellowstone Attendance Holds Steady in Winter Season

According to the National Park Service, visits to Yellowstone National Park were up 2.7 in February 2010 when compared to February 2009, an increase from 28,355 to 29,109. For the year, visits are up from 53,125 in 2009 to 54,702 in 2010, a rise of 2.8 percent.

Of course, those numbers are a drop in the bucket when compared to the summer months. But it’s also a whole lot more work to visit Yellowstone in winter, especially the Old Faithful area.
