Sylvan Pass Reopens After Avalanche Danger Closure

The Sylvan Pass in Yellowstone National Park has reopened to oversnow travel after closing temporarily Friday, January 12, 2018.

We previously reported the pass was closed due to avalanche danger.

The Sylvan Pass connects Lake Village and Fishing Bridge to Yellowstone’s East Entrance, which connects the park to Cody, Wyoming.

Visit our Roads page for more information about conditions and closures in Yellowstone National Park.
