SkyWest Launches West Yellowstone Jet Service

Flying to Yellowstone National Park will be a little easier this summer, as SkyWest Airlines has scheduled daily Delta Connection Salt Lake City to West Yellowstone jet service beginning on June 1.

“There just isn’t a better option for those planning a summer trip to Yellowstone National Park than this new jet service directly into Yellowstone Airport,” said Greg Atkin, SkyWest Airlines’ managing director – Market Development. “We appreciate the hard work of the West Yellowstone community in preparation for these new flights and we look forward to the first jet touching down at WYS this summer.”

“It has been almost 30 years since we last had scheduled jet service at Yellowstone Airport and everyone is looking forward to these new flights,” says Jeff Kadlec, Airport Manager, Yellowstone Airport. “The capacity potential is great for the airport and community.”

SkyWest will be flying 50-seat Canadair Regional Jets (CRJ200) as part of the Salt Lake City to West Yellowstone jet service. There will be two daily flights Thursday through Monday and one daily flight on Tuesday and Wednesday.

This flight puts you right outside Yellowstone’s West Entrance. Rental-care facilities are available at the West Yellowstone airport (code: WYS). Flights can be arranged though the Delta.com website.
