Well, that didn’t take long: the Yellowstone fire danger level has now been raised to high, as the long, hot summer continues, with little substantive relief on the horizon.

With the summer season upon us and anecdotal evidence of crowds returning, it’s important to note that the Yellowstone fire danger is now currently rated as very high by the National Park Service.

The Yellowstone fire danger level has been downgraded to moderate, as cool weather and moisture in the air has mitigated the fire risk in Yellowstone National Park.
