Yellowstone officials will be holding a public meeting Monday, August 10, concerning the Winter Use Adaptive Management Plan draft.

Visitation to Yellowstone National Park was down slightly in December 2010, as a decline in the number of visitors entering the Park via automobiles and snowmobiles was not offset by a rise in the number of snowcoach customers -- a trend continuing from last winter.

As the debate over winter use in Yellowstone National Park continues, the Yellowstone Business Partnership (YBP) has put together an intriguing lineup for next week's annual conference: "Re-Envisioning Winter: Making the Most of Greater Yellowstone’s Longest Season."

Winter visitation to Yellowstone National Park for the 2009-2010 season was down slightly, as a poor snowpack and another decrease in the number of snowmobilers visiting the Park depressed the numbers, the second straight dropoff in winter visitation.
