The road between Canyon Village and the entrance to the North Rim Drive will be temporarily closed to fix a broken water line.
Due to the location of the line break, people will be unable to travel from Canyon Village to Fishing Bridge and through the Hayden Valley.
Northbound traffic, however, can detour around the construction using the North Rim Drive.
According to a Yellowstone Facebook announcement, the closure began 8 a.m. MST Monday, October 16.
It is not known how long this closure will last. We will update this story when the closure is lifted.
