SkyWest Jet Service to West Yellowstone Restarts May 25

SkyWest Airlines will restart daily flights between Salt Lake City and West Yellowstone May 25, 2017.

According to Aviation Tribune, the seasonal connection, offered through Delta, will take visitors between the cities aboard the 50-seat Canadair Regional Jet (CRJ200).

This is the second year SkyWest has offered the connection since its inaugural season in summer 2015. From Aviation Tribune:

“There just isn’t a more convenient option for planning a summer trip to Yellowstone National Park, since direct flights to the West Yellowstone Airport give travelers more time to experience the park,” said Greg Atkin, SkyWest Airlines’ managing director – Market Development. “Now is the perfect time to plan and book a Yellowstone vacation.”

An additional roundtrip flight will be available Thursday through Monday during June and September, daily during July, and Wednesday through Monday during August. These flight options ensure passengers are able to easily connect onto hundreds of destinations around the world through Delta’s global network in Salt Lake City.

“Yellowstone Airport is very excited to host the jet service again!” says Jeff Kadlec, Airport Manager, Yellowstone Airport. “Everyone is looking forward to the return of the daily round-trip flights and the benefit these flights bring to our community.”
