Although winter tends to linger around Yellowstone, one sure sign the seasons are changing is when crews start plowing the Beartooth Highway.
Earlier this week, bulldozers started shoveling snow off the scenic road, which is anticipated to open May 27 this year.

The Beartooth Highway, of course, is one of the most spectacular roads in the United States, taking visitors through some of the most gorgeous scenery in the world. Unfortunately, it had to close a month early last year, due to early snowfall.
