See Video of the Spruce Fire Smoke Plume

The Yellowstone National Park Facebook page uploaded a time lapse of the Spruce Fire, condensing an hour of smoke plumes into 30 seconds.

As previously reported, the Spruce Fire has grown to over 2000 acres, growing substantially since its discovery September 9. Fire crews are monitoring the situation and do not expect the need to intervene and suppress the fire. There are, as of yet, no closures or fire restrictions in place in Yellowstone National Park.
