The announcement lessens the impact of the Sylvan Pass being closed through Sunday, which is the earliest Park officials say it can be reopened. National Park Service crews are working to clean up four major snow slides clogging the Pass and the surrounding area. Visitors from Cody and points west will be rerouted to the Northeast Entrance for access to Yellowstone.
You can call WYDOT at 888-WYO-ROAD or the Park at 307/344-2117 for more information.
