Lake Hotel, Old Faithful Inn Close For 2016 Summer Season

Both the Lake Hotel and Old Faithful Inn have closed for the 2016 summer season, with more closures scheduled for tomorrow, October 10.

As of 11:45 a.m. MST, the following facilities have closed for the season in Yellowstone National Park:

Lake Village
• Lake Yellowstone Hotel & Cabins.
• Lake Hotel Dining Room.
• Lake Hotel Cabins.

Old Faithful
• Old Faithful Service Station.
• Old Faithful Upper General Store.
• Wrecker Service.
• Old Faithful Inn.

NPS Campgrounds
• Slough Creek Campground.

With this round of closures, Lake Village is closed entirely until next summer. And Old Faithful is all but closed, pending the closure of the Old Faithful Snow Lodge October 16 and the Geyser Grill November 6.

In addition, the Dunraven Pass is scheduled to close October 11, although weather may close it sooner.

In addition, the following facilities are scheduled to close during the day October 10:

Mammoth Hot Springs
• Terrace Grill.
• Mammoth Gift Shop.
• Mammoth Hot Springs Hotel & Cabin.
• Mammoth Hot Springs Dining Room.

Please note that the Mammoth Hot Springs Hotel will be closed for both the winter 2016-17 and 2017-18 season for necessary renovations.
